Hi, I came to know about the Azerbaijan medical university (AMU) through a senior student who is in his third year. I am happy and content... with AMU campus. The faculties, the library, the sports complex, the labs and all other amenities are very good. The student community is very friendly. There are students from various countries including India, turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, gulf countries and some African countries too. Since the medium of instruction is English and so it makes us very easy to understand the subjects and also hope it will help us in continuing our PG in any other country. Azerbaijan could be recommended as the safest country; the people here are friendly and polite enough to help you with any circumstances and also the cost of living is nominal. Like everyone else, when I started looking for countries to study medicine abroad, Azerbaijan was not one of my options at all. But now, after coming... to Baku and living here nearly for 4 months, I can safely say it is one of the best countries to study medicine. Our university, Azerbaijan medical university is more than 100 years old, and it is recognized by all the major international medical councils. All our teachers and staff are super friendly, they take extra care on us if we don't understand something. We have good lab facilities and fresh cadavers to study. Personally, I like the concept of only 10-12 people in classes here, which makes it easy for us to interact with our teachers, unlike in India where there are 100 people in a class. Country wise, Azerbaijan is one of the most hospitable and prettiest countries in the world. Of course, language barrier is an issue, but people here are so hospitable and they take time and try to help us. It is a very safe country, where I can go on late night walks without any fear. Also, Get Direction Global consultancy was, and is still extremely helpful for us in our whole process. They made it possible for us to come here on February, even though the usual intake is only on September. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience, and I would strongly recommend medicine in Azerbaijan through Get direction global consultancy

There are many different reasons why people choose Medical in Azerbaijan, I chose Azerbaijan Medical University because there are internationally... experienced faculties and doctors and various opportunities and exposure provided to us. It is also very convenient to study here since the medium of education is English. Also, you get a lot of experience because of the vast practical materials present here. They have very advanced technology and many different labs and rooms for students to study practically and get familiar with cadavers and corpse’ s in early stages. Azerbaijan as a country is one of the safest countries to live in and it is so beautiful and has so many different regions here to visit and appreciate. It is so convenient to travel in Baku as well since a lot of the people choose public transport systems here like buses. People here are very polite and cooperative to every culture and religion. here are so many benefits for studying in Azerbaijan that it is affordable and the admission process will be easy and guaranteed, you ... are not required to have a TOEFL or IELTS exams and will be provided by certificate recognized by WHO. Azerbaijan is a safe country with less crime rates as compared to other countries; the cost of living will be 150 to 300 USD per month on an average. You will not be subjected towards religious, ethnic or racial discrimination as the people are peaceful towards foreigners. If you are a medical student you will be able to give international exams USMLE, MCI, PLAB, etc. after completing MBBS. Hello all, I’m a student of AMU, situated in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Talking about the place, it's a really good and safe place with helpful and friendly... people. Our university is one of the top in Azerbaijan, the faculty is really good with experienced doctors and lecturers are taught in English, in the best way possible. we get practical classes at the university owned hospital, which is really helpful and convenient. They offer all subjects and facilities that a medical university should. the dormitories here are really good and close to the university. We also have an Indian students’ association, based in Azerbaijan, for cultural programs and any help, the student may require. My experience so far has been great here. Safe country with affordable cost of living. One of the biggest campuses with multi-speciality hospital., I’ve had no major difficulties so far also because of the services provided to us by Get Direction Global, no matter the timing they are always available to help all of us out with any issues.

Curing anyone is the best thing anyone can do for others, so being in medical college is itself so precious university is recognized by WHO and established in 1930 ... and our university and its units are distributed in the whole baku city, it has separate departments and building for specific subject and hostel is also safe and guarded by government police, they provide what you need and here is other facilities like kitchen geyser etc.. Country is also very safe for all as its Muslim country but they adopted the European culture, so they don’t do any regulations or something about the religion and it’s very safe for both boys and girls I will surely recommend AMU for students who didn’t got seat in government colleges if they want to complete their dream and desire, The best thing about get direction global and Mr Rakesh is the trust and bonding, He treat us like bro ..😊

Azerbaijan Medical University has a student friendly campus which provides Us Education in best way as possible. Teachers here are very supportive and the curriculum ... followed here mainly focus on practical skills rather than theoretical knowledge. Also the syllabus gives us ambient time to learn things and the Academic years are divided into semesters which gives us access to learn things in a better way. Hostel is provided by the university itself which is situated in the close perimeter of the university. Also the atmosphere here mainly focuses on decreasing stress as portions are taught in a slow and understanding manner. Hostel has ambient facilities which mainly includes WiFi, laundry etc. Indian Mess is also available. A kitchen is also provided in the hostel for students who wish to prepare dish themselves. Seniors here are very supportive and boost our life here more joyful. The City of Baku is a very beautiful city to stay with peaceful atmosphere. Even though the city is little bit expensive the quality of goods available here are worth for the money we spent. Overall Azerbaijan is a friendly and beautiful place to study understands and lives. In terms of education, the University, in its own rights, can be classified as one of the finest centres for Medical Studies. The system caters to every educational requirement of its students, be it in ... terms of well-established tutors or technological reinforcement.
AMU is inevitably one among its kind that offers cadavers and associated models to aid its students in becoming skilled practitioners.
However, on the not so bright side, the examination pattern followed could be, sometimes if not always, discerned as one that may not act to the advantage of every candidate.
The institution conducts its main series of examinations as a set of Multiple Choice Questions which cannot be deemed infallible in assessing the competence or theoretical understanding of a medical student.
Weighing the pros and cons, as a student who has begun her journey of fulfilling her medical dreams with AMU, I would confidently and most sincerely recommend this university to any medical aspirant who wish to pursue Medicine at an affordable fee but without having to compromise on the quality of education rendered.
Hostel Facility
The hostel runs as a co-ed system whereby students of either gender reside in one building, oftentimes separated by floors. The style, especially to an Indian born, may initially prove to be apprehensive, but the residents, to date, are known to be respectful of one another's privacy.
Each dorm room accommodates three inmates.
Occupants are expected to do self-cooking, or rely on nearby catering services.
Wifi connection is offered 24/7 which proves beneficial not only to one’s recreational, but most importantly, educational requirements.
Pointing out the cons, the unavailability of a water dispenser at the hostel facility could be quite an issue.
Overall, the hostel offers an ambiance of comfort and safety; ensuring a good study environment for its students.
