Admission requirements: all applicants need to submit a set of application documents to the university as well as pass an entrance exam. Then, in september, there is a ranking of all applicants who meet this criteria. Entrance exam subjects: entrance exam subjects include biology and chemistry as well as english.

SCHOLARSHIP

Plovdiv medical university offers scholarships for international students who have excellent grades. However, keep in mind that the scholarship is not very big (and of course, hard to obtain) so it won't cover much of your living costs.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

To be admitted to the medical university of plovdiv, you need to submit the following documents:

  • Application form: a completed, printed, and signed application form 
  • High school diploma: a certified and notarized copy of your high school diploma, with an official translation in bulgarian 
  • High school transcripts: a certified and notarized copy of your high school transcripts, with an official translation in bulgarian 
  • High school certificate: an original document from your high school certifying that you are eligible to continue your education at a university 
  • Health certificate: a notarized certificate from a certified medical professional stating that you are in good physical and mental health to study at a medical university 
  • Id or passport: a copy of a valid id or international passport 
  • Photos: four recent color photos 
  • Administrative tax: the administrative tax of 25 eu 
  • Entrance exam results: the results of your entrance exam, which includes multiple choice questions in biology and chemistry 
  • English language certificate: an internationally recognized language certificate or the results of an online english test
