University of nicosia (unic) is a private university based in nicosia, cyprus. It has over 12,000 students enrolled from over 70 countries.

In september 2007, intercollege of nicosia became the university of nicosia, cyprus. it later split from the rest of the university of nicosia.

University of nicosia's campus is greater than 100.000 square meters.

The university houses the largest medical school in the country and offers three different medical programmes: 1) a 6-year undergraduate entry doctor of medicine (md) programme; 2) a 4-year graduate entry doctor of medicine degree (gemd) designed for those holding university degrees in any field; and 3) a 4-year graduate entry bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (mbbs) british medical degree offered in collaboration with st george's university of london and awarded by the uk general medical council

ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for admission to the university of nicosia medical school, you must meet the following requirements:

High school: have a high school leaving certificate with a minimum of 90% overall, or equivalent
English language: have a minimum score of 6.5 on the ielts, or equivalent
Standardized test: pass a standardized entrance exam like the mcat, gamsat, or ucat
Bachelor's degree: have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a related field
Interview: pass an online interview to demonstrate your suitability for the program
Volunteer experience: show that you have an understanding of the biological, psychological, and social aspects of medicine
Reference letter: provide an academic or professional reference letter

Standardized test scores

Mcat: minimum score of 498
Gamsat: minimum score of 55, with at least 50 in all sections
Ucat: minimum overall score of 2500, with at least 500 in each section, and a situational judgment score in bands 1-3

FEE STRUCTURE

The university of nicosia medical school in cyprus has the following tuition structure:

First three years: tuition is €18,000 per year
Last three years: tuition is €22,000 per year
Living costs: living costs depend on lifestyle, but on average, staying in nicosia for a year costs at least €12,000
Additional supplement: students who do clinical training at international partner institutions may have to pay an additional supplement during the last two years
Graduate entry program: the four-year graduate entry program is for applicants who already have a degree

SCHOLARSHIP
