In 1990 gomel state medical university was founded as per resolution of the council of ministers and order of the minister of health of the byelorussian soviet socialist republic

The main campus of gomel state medical university is located in downtown gomel, with 18 adjacent clinical sites spread across the city. Education at gomel state medical university includes five to six-year programs in basic and clinical medical science. Graduates of the university obtain m.d. degree and are required to complete a minimum of a one-year internship in order to practice clinical medicine. Education of foreign students at gomel state medical university started in 2003.

ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY


To be eligible for admission to gomel state medical university in belarus, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 17 years old and under 25 years old on the date of admission 
  • Have a science background with physics, chemistry, and biology as subjects 
  • Have a minimum score of 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology in 10+2 
  • Have a minimum score of 40% in physics, chemistry, and biology in 10+2 if you are from a reserved category 
  • Have a valid negative report of hiv and covid-19 
  • Have a valid passport 
  • Have a 10+2 high school certificate from a recognized board 
  • Have a good score on the neet exam 
  • Be fluent in english 
  • Have a filled application form, passport-size photographs, birth certificate, 10th and 12th board exam scorecards, and an attested character certificate

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

To get admitted to gomel state medical university in belarus, you need to provide the following documents:

  • High school certificates: original certificates of secondary school, including marksheets and certificates for class 11 and 12
