ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY


To be eligible for admission to kazakh national medical university (knmu), you must meet the following criteria:

  • Age

You must be at least 17 years old and no more than 25 years old on the date of admission. 

  • Academic qualifications

You must have passed 10th and 12th standard with physics, chemistry, and biology from a government-recognized board. 

  • Marks

You must have scored at least 50% in 12th standard in physics, chemistry, and biology (pcb). If you belong to a reserved category (sc/st/obc), you must have scored at least 40% in pcb and english. 

  • Neet

You must have qualified for the neet exam in the current year or any of the previous two years. 

  • Recognition

The university must be recognized by the national medical council (nmc) and the world health organization (who). 

Knmu is recognized by the nmc and who. It offers direct admission to the mbbs course.
