Samarkand state medical university (ssmu) is a medical university in samarkand, uzbekistan. It was established in 1930 and is one of the oldest medical institutions in central asia.

ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY


To be eligible for admission to samarkand state medical university in uzbekistan, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 17 years old 
  • Have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks 
  • Have studied physics, chemistry, and biology in 10+2 or equivalent 
  • Have qualified for the national eligibility cum entrance test (neet) 
  • Have a valid neet score at the time of admission 
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent degree 
  • Have a cumulative grade point average (gpa) of at least 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology 
  • Have a cumulative grade point average (gpa) of at least 45% in physics, chemistry, and biology if you belong to the sc or st community 
  • Submit the required documents in person or by email

    • Mess and Hostel Charges are chargeable on Academic Year Basis.
    • Students Visa Charges from India & Air ticket charges will be Payable by Student. 
    • From 2nd Year VISA Extension @ 300 USD and Registration @ 250 USD Per Year. However, Visa Extension and Registration will be payable as per actual Government Regulations and Charges.
    • Kindly consider $ 50 per year as contingent expenses in addition to above, if required. 
    • Hostel & Mess is compulsory in University Campus.

    *First Year One Time Expenses include, Admission Letter, Invitation Letter, Admission Fee, Administrative Charges, Accounting/Transaction Charges, Ministry Approval, Documents Translation and Registration, Police Verification, Air Port Pick Up, Pre-Departure and Post Arrival Support, Misc. Expenses all other procedural formalities required for admission procedure, processing and consultation charges.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

To be admitted to samarkand state medical university in uzbekistan, you need to submit the following documents:

  • Passport: a valid passport with a notarized translation copy 
  • Mark sheets: original and notarized copies of mark sheets from 10th and 12th grade 
  • Certificates: original and notarized copies of certificates from 10th and 12th grade 
  • Neet scorecard: for indian students, a scorecard from the national eligibility cum entrance test 
  • Birth certificate: original birth certificate 
  • Photographs: six passport-sized photographs (3.5 x 4.5 cm) 
  • Medical certificate: a medical certificate confirming fitness 
  • Covid-19 vaccination certificate: proof of vaccination against covid-19 
  • Hiv test report: a report from an hiv test 
  • Application form: a completed application form to the rector of samarkand state medical university 
  • Tuition fee receipt: proof of payment of tuition fees
