Vytautas magnus university (vmu) is a public university in kaunas, lithuania. It was founded in 1922 and is one of the oldest higher education institutions in the country. 

History:

  • The university was originally called the university of lithuania 
  • It was renamed vytautas magnus university in 1930 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of vytautas the great 
  • The soviet regime closed the university, but it was re-established in 1989

ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY


To be eligible for admission to vytautas magnus university (vmu) in lithuania, applicants must meet certain criteria, including:

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in english at a b2 level. This can be done by providing scores from a test such as the ielts, toefl, or cambridge english first.

Encouragement scholarships 
 
  • Basic scholarships range from €110–€140 per month for full-time students, and €71.50–€91 per month for part-time students
  • Increased scholarships range from €206.25–€262.50 per month for full-time students, and €137.5–€175 per month for part-time students
Social and Encouragement scholarships 
 
  • One-time Social Scholarships range from €220–€280
  • One-time Encouragement Scholarships range from €275–€350
Scientific or artistic scholarships 
 
  • One-time scholarships of €500 are awarded for scientific or artistic achievements

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

To be admitted to vytautas magnus university (vmu) in lithuania, you need to submit the following documents:
