Klaipeda university (ku) is a multidisciplinary university in klaipeda, lithuania. It was established in 1991 and is known for its marine research and education.

ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY


To be admitted to klaipeda university in lithuania, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Academic qualifications

You must have completed higher secondary education with good grades. For a bachelor's degree, you must have a higher school certificate. For a master's degree, you must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent. For a phd, you must have a master's degree with a good grade point average. 

  • English language proficiency

You must have proof of english language proficiency, unless you are a native english speaker or completed your previous education in english. You can provide proof with an ielts score of 5.5 or higher, a toefl score of 75 or higher, or a cefr score of b2 or higher. 

  • Application documents

You must apply with a valid passport, a copy of your higher school certificate, and a passport type photo. You may also need to provide a document of approval certification (apostille). 

  • Foreign citizens

If you are a foreign citizen, your education documents must be recognized in lithuania.

SCHOLARSHIP

The amount of scholarship offered at Klaipeda University varies by program and type of scholarship. 
 
Short-term studies 
 
  • The Lithuanian state scholarship for full-time Master's degree or integrated studies is 550 euros per month.
Doctoral studies 
 
  • State-funded students receive a monthly scholarship of 931 euros in their first year, and 1078 euros in their second through fourth years.
  • They may also receive support for travel and other needs.
Master's programs 
 
  • The Bending Spoons Women in Computer Science Scholarship is available for Master's programs.
  • The Education Future International Scholarship is available at any time.
  • The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships are also available.
Bachelor's programs 
 
  • Independent providers offer grants for Bachelor's programs.
General admission 
 
  • EU/EEA citizens, people of Lithuanian origin, or non-EU/EEA nationals with a right of permanent residence in Lithuania may be eligible for state-funded study places.
Applying for scholarships 
 
  • Students can apply for scholarships in accordance with the procedures established by the applicable legislation.
