ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for admission to riga stradins university (rsu), you must meet the following requirements:

Secondary education

You must have completed secondary education, including a high school diploma and academic transcript.

English language proficiency

You must demonstrate english language proficiency. You can do this by:

Submitting an english certificate like ielts, cae, or fce

Meeting the english mark requirements for students from the eu

Meeting the minimum b2 level of proficiency for studies in english

Academic performance

You must have scored at least 70% in mathematics, english, biology, or chemistry. It's also preferable to have good grades in physics.

Document submission

You must submit the required documents, including an online application that you print and submit by post.

Legalization

You must legalize or authenticate your educational documents with an apostille or approval from the ministry of foreign affairs or embassy of the issuing country.

FEE STRUCTURE

The fee structure at Riga Stradins University (RSU) in Latvia includes tuition and hostel fees.

Tuition fees

BSN: INR 2.23 L for tuition and INR 1.39 L for hostel
M.Sc. INR 4.01 L for tuition and INR 1.39 L for hostel
MBA/PGDM: INR 4.01 L for tuition and INR 1.39 L for hostel
MBBS: INR 12.04 L for tuition and INR 1.39 L for hostel
BDS: INR 12 L for tuition
B.Sc. INR 7 L for tuition
International Business and Start-up Entrepreneurship: EUR 2,800 per year

Scholarships and discounts

RSU offers tuition fee discounts to students who achieve the highest weighted average grade in the previous semester.
RSU also offers scholarships.

Other fees

Pre-course fees are €10 per academic hour. For example, Chemistry is 30 hours and costs $350.

Services and resources

RSU offers services such as weekly tests, colloquiums, examinations, and final semester tests. Students can also use lecture halls, rooms, and laboratories in RSU's study bases.

SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship holders are selected via a competition. The AS Olpha Excellence Scholarship is 200 euros a month for ten months of studies. Citizens and residents of the Republic of Latvia who are 4th year RSU Faculty of Pharmacy students may be eligible for the scholarship.
