  • The idea for a medical college in dhaka was proposed to the british government in 1939, but was shelved due to world war ii.
  • A committee was formed in 1945 and recommended the establishment of the college in 1946.
  • The college did not have its own building at first, but used a building that was previously the secretariat of the newly formed provinces of east bengal and assam.

ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY


To be eligible for admission to dhaka national medical college in bangladesh, you must meet the following criteria: 

  • Pass the qualifying examinations, such as hsc or a-level 
  • Pass the ssc or o-level examination, not before 2021 
  • Have a minimum aggregate gpa of 7.00 in ssc and hsc 
  • Have a minimum gpa of 4.00 in biology 
  • Have a minimum aggregate score of 60% in physics, chemistry, and biology (pcb) in class 12 
  • Be at least 17 years old by the end of the year of admission 
  • Have a qualifying neet score 
  • Have no more than one year's gap after the 10+2 exam 
  • Have physics, chemistry, and biology as your primary subjects in class 11 and 12

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION
