ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY


To be eligible for admission to Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) for an MBBS program, Indian students must meet the following requirements: 

  • Age: Be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the year they are applying 
  • Education: Complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects 
  • Marks: Obtain a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) 
  • NEET: Qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in the current year or the previous two years 
  • Language proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in English, usually through a test like TOEFL or IELTS 

Additional requirements

  • Students from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) may need to score a minimum of 40% in PCB 
  • Students may need to submit academic transcripts and other relevant documents 
  • Some universities may require applicants to pass an entrance exam

Expenses all other procedural formalities required for admission procedure.

    •*Bed Space is very limited in University Hostel, Rooms will be allocated on first come first basis, Mess facility is not available in University Hostel

SCHOLARSHIP

The Azerbaijan Government Scholarship for students at Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) provides a monthly allowance of 800 AZN, a medical allowance of 200 AZN per year, and a single-entry visa to Azerbaijan.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

To be admitted to Azerbaijan Medical University, you need to submit the following documents: 

  • Application form: A completed application form
  • Academic transcripts: Mark sheets from 10th and 12th grade
  • Passport: A valid passport with photocopies
  • Birth certificate: A birth certificate, translated into English if required
  • Photographs: Recent passport-sized photographs
  • Medical certificate: A medical certificate that includes an HIV test and fitness certificate
  • English proficiency test scores: If required, scores from an English proficiency test like IELTS or TOEFL
  • Proof of financial capability: Bank statements or affidavits
  • Visa application documents: An admission letter, proof of accommodation, and financial proof
  • Police clearance certificate: A police clearance certificate
  • Other documents: A character certificate, migration certificate, and university fee payment receipt
