ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY


To be eligible for admission to Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) for an MBBS program, Indian students must meet the following requirements: 

  • Age: Be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the year they are applying 
  • Education: Complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects 
  • Marks: Obtain a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) 
  • NEET: Qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in the current year or the previous two years 
  • Language proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in English, usually through a test like TOEFL or IELTS 

Additional requirements

  • Students from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) may need to score a minimum of 40% in PCB 
  • Students may need to submit academic transcripts and other relevant documents 
  • Some universities may require applicants to pass an entrance exam 

 

FEE STRUCTURE

The total fees for an MBBS at Azerbaijan Medical University for Indian students in 2025 are around INR 41.22 lakhs. This includes tuition fees, hostel fees, and other charges. 

Fees 

  • Tuition: USD 6,750 per year
  • Hostel: USD 1,000 per year
  • Documentation, translation, visa extension, registration, medical insurance, and miscellaneous charges: USD 2,000 for the first year
  • Indian mess: USD 150 per month

Payment 

  • Students can pay the first year's fees in US dollars after arriving in Azerbaijan
  • Students can transfer the first year's fees online to the university's account in Azerbaijan

SCHOLARSHIP
